The Julian Nursing Home started as an out-patient clinic in the year 1987. In 1990, it became a full-fledged nursing home with a laboratory and an X-ray unit in the same premises which grew into a center with 40 beds and an operation theatre in 1995.
The Nursing Home has a modern diagnostic center. An X-Ray unit with well qualified technicians, backed up by a radiologist is also present. A computerized ECG unit and an Echo unit. A top notch Doppler Ultrasound machine for the entire body is also available. Our team of doctors i.e. The Sonologist,The Radiologist and The Cardiologist, make use of the diagnostic facilities present to give their combined valuable. The EEG (Electro Encephalogram) Machine helps in the diagnosis of Neuro patients, who are then treated by the Neuro-physician. To Supplement the Orthopaedic treatment provided, a well equipped physiotherapy unit is functioning in the hospital. The hospital also has a complete unit of Cystoscopy and Urology equipments for Cystoscopic surgeries. The operation theatre is well equipped with the latest equipment, including an Operating Microscope for surgeries, especially ENT surgeries and Ophthalmology surgeries, including Intraocular lens implant. The equipments include a laparoscopy unit. The Surgery ICU is fully equipped and manned by qualified and experienced staff.
