Description Padma Metals has specialised in the manufacture of quality casting alloys of aluminium. It was started in 1978 by Mr. A.P. Joshi who has over thirty five years of experience in non-ferrous metallurgy. Having obtained Masters degrees in Chemistry and Metallurgy and working in senior positions in leading Companies like COMINCO in Canada, Binani Metal Works in Calcutta and Eyre Smelting (now Cookson India) in Madras, he could confidently start this venture. The unit is managed since 1993 by his son, Mr. Deepak Joshi, who has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy. Melting and alloying of aluminium is carried out in two reverberatory furnaces each of 5 tons capacity, rotary furnace of 2MT capacity and one reverberatory furnaces of 10 tons capacity.Our finished products is Aluminium Alloy Ingots. Quality control of raw materials and finished products is ensured by two Optical Emission Spectrometers as well as microstructure investigations. Experienced staff and workers ensure efficiency, quality and reliability in every aspect. Service to the customers is our motto. Our sister concern M/s. Padmashree Alloys which is also ISO 9001:2000 certified has an installed capacity of roughly 350 MT of zinc alloy per month . We are supplying zinc alloys to established companies like Sundaram Dynacast, SMR Automotive, Infac India Pvt Ltd, Sri Balaji Assemblies & Plastics, G-Plast Pvt Ltd., Roots Cast Pvt Ltd., Hi-Lex India Pvt Ltd., etc.,
